My Books
"I
have written over thirty books for children two of the most recent are
The Silent Pool, and House of Spies.
These and all my other published
books are described in later pages of this web. An easy place to start

I have visited many schools in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire,
Northamptonshire and further afield, including Paris and Texas. I
enjoy giving
talks about my work and running writing workshops for the children.
I teach Creative Writing for Adult Education classes and I have written stories for the BBC and women's magazines.
I write almost every day for children and young teenagers. I have
also written an adult novel.
I am a member of P.E.N. and the Society of Authors. I belong to
the Scattered Authors Society and I am also listed by Wordpool."

husband, Jim and I have lived in Leighton Buzzard since 1991 and we have a very bouncy Springer
Spaniel called Toby!
Previously I lived in Woburn Sands for many years and brought up two
children.
I share an interest in painting with my husband and examples of my art are
